Two separate samples of Chenin blanc used from Polkadraai in Stellenbosch. 60% percent of the wine was wholebunch fermented for a total of 6 days. Aged in older French oak barrels for 11 months. A wine with freshness combined with a textured finish.
All the fruit sourced from granitic soils in Polkadraai. 100% wholebunch fermented and aged in neutral French oak for 11 months. The aim was to produce a Pinotage with freshness and texture, but also to retain the Pinotage identity.
