Only 24 bottles of Epilogue 2012 were unearthed — preserved in perfect cellar conditions and released now, for the first and only time. This is a one-off opportunity to own a piece of Boschkloof’s origin story.No premium has been added for the older vintage — a gesture of appreciation to our loyal members.

Vinification

Grapes were specially selected and harvested by hand and the vineyard yield was exceptionally low at 4-6 Tons / ha. During this process skins were punched down 4 times per day. After completion of alcoholic fermentation, further skin contact was allowed for an average of 18 days. Matured in 35% new 225l French oak barrels for 20 months.

The blend consists of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Syrah, 26% Merlot and 28% Cabernet Franc
